Buchanan First Presbyterian Church

Rev. Brad Napier, Pastor

“As the rain hides the stars, as the autumn mist hides the hills, as the clouds veil the blue of

the sky, so the dark happenings of my lot hide the shining of your face from me. Yet, if I may

hold your hand in the darkness, it is enough. Since I know that, though I may stumble in my

going, you do not fall.” AMEN.

-Gaelic prayer

Pastoral Intern, Anna Sharpe, in Paris, France during a one-year study. Anna is a recent graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary.

We are fortunate to have Anna with us for a three month internship. Her love for God, innovative teaching and message sharing methods

are being enjoyed by all. Her (easy to see) people caring skills make her a great addition to our churches.

She is sharing her time between the three PCUSA churches in Buchanan County.

Come Worship With Us

At Buchanan First Presbyterian Church, we affirm and are committed to these things:

We affirm that God is revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe

that the Triune God is one, yet in three distinct persons.

We affirm that the Bible is the Word of God written.  We believe that the Bible is our rule of faith and life.

We affirm that our salvation comes by Grace alone, through Faith alone in Christ alone.

We affirm that the Church is the body of Christ and the Church is where

people gather for worship, growth, fellowship and mission.

We affirm that we are all sinners and broken people.  None of us are perfect

and as such, all are welcome here.
