Buchanan First Presbyterian Church

Rev. Brad Napier, Pastor

“O Lord, give me strength to refrain from the unkind silence that is born of hardness of heart;

the unkind silence that clouds the serenity of understanding and is the enemy of peace. Give

me strength to be the first to tender the healing word and the renewal of friendship, that the

bounds of amity and the flow of charity may be strengthened for the good of the brethren and

the furthering of Thine eternal, loving purpose.”

Come Worship With Us

At Buchanan First Presbyterian Church, we affirm and are committed to these things:

  We affirm that God is revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe

          that the Triune God is one, yet in three distinct persons.

  We affirm that the Bible is the Word of God written.  We believe that the Bible is our rule of faith and life.

  We affirm that our salvation comes by Grace alone, through Faith alone in Christ alone.

  We affirm that the Church is the body of Christ and the Church is where

          people gather for worship, growth, fellowship and mission.

  We affirm that we are all sinners and broken people.  None of us are perfect

          and as such, all are welcome here.
