Voluntary Pastor Brad Napier

Announcements and Welcome Elder Toni Stokes

Call to Worship (Responsive) -Psalm 125 Intern Ryan Willey, Liturgist

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion;

Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem;

So the Lord surrounds his people, from this time on and forevermore.

Let us worship the Lord, our God.

Praise be unto you, O God!

*Hymn #321 - The Church’s One Foundation

Prayer of Confession (Unison)

Patient God, we confess the inadequacy of our devotion and the weakness of our

service. For we have honored you with our lips even when our hearts have been

far from you. We invoke your name for our own glory more than yours. We

obey you only when it suits us. We do not struggle against the things that tempt

us. Our outward appearance masks our inward reality, and the sin within us

defiles us. But you, Holy God, have the power to forgive us. Cleanse us by your

grace, in the strong name of Jesus, that we may truly serve you with all the

strength of our being and bring glory to your name.

And now, Lord, I confess specifically.....(silent prayers)

Assurance of Pardon (Responsive)

Jesus, Lamb of God.

Have mercy on us.

Jesus, Bearer of our sins,

Have mercy on us.

Jesus, Redeemer of the world,

Grant us peace

I declare to you, in the name of Jesus Christ, God has heard our confession, and

forgiven our sins.

Thanks be to God. AMEN.

Passing of the Peace

The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

And also with you.
