CALL TO WORSHIP (Responsive) -Psalm 103
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits.
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his
steadfast love toward those who fear him.
As a father has compassion for his children;
So the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.
Let us worship God.

HYMN 31 Let Us with a Gladsome Mind

Gracious God, you have called us to serve you cheerfully, and to follow
you faithfully. But we have turned a deaf ear to your call; we have been
so occupied with our own concerns that we have not stopped to listen for
you. Forgive us for insisting upon our own way, when you have called us
to a better way. By your Spirit, give us the minds and hearts of true disciples.
Be glorified in our glad obedience to your call, as we walk in free submission
To your will, according to the pattern of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
And now Lord, I confess specifically…..(silent prayers)

ASSURANCE OF PARDON (Responsive) -II Cor. 5: 17
Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The past is left behind; everything
has become fresh and new. Friends, believe the good news of the gospel:
In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. AMEN.

The Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
And also with you.
Share Christ’s peace with your brothers and sisters.

“Our Father, you called us and saved us in order to make us like your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Change us, day by day, by the work of your Holy Spirit so that we may grow more like him in all
that we think and say and do, to his glory.
Yes, Lord Jesus Christ, whether we be far off or near, far away from you in the human swarm, in
business, in early cares, in temporal joys, in merely human highness, or far from all this, forsaken,
unappreciated in lowliness, and with this the nearer to you, do you draw us entirely to yourself.” AMEN.
