Greeting and Gathering
Assurance of Pardon
Our God is merciful and loving. He desires our repentance more than any sacrifice. Let us celebrate the gifts of mercy we receive together and be reunited with God through the work of the Holy Spirit restoring our hearts.
Thanks be to God. Amen.

Call to Worship: From Psalm 24
Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.
Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O gates! Be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. *Hymn 354 – Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory
Prayer of Confession
We have stumbled in our faithfulness. Our lives have become complicated and busy, and we have failed to put God first in our lives and our relationships. We ask God to restore us with mercy and grace, so we can love our neighbors and each other as you call us to love.
Holy God, we ask that you would restore our hearts. Help us be humble and faithful before you, so that we can serve righteously and follow your example in our lives. Pardon and renew us so we can be witnesses to the Gospel we have received.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers… (Silent prayers)
